We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team for a project focused on designing, developing, and deploying LAN/WAN network infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for 3rd-level troubleshooting for all LAN/WAN alerts and issues, maintenance of all monitoring and reporting systems, and producing and maintaining documentation related to all systems developed/deployed.

You will perform on-call duty for non-business hours support as per shift assignments, configure and install various network devices and services, and monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

Design, develop, and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructureResponsible for 3rd-level troubleshooting for all LAN/WAN alerts and issuesResponsible for maintenance of all monitoring and reporting systemsProduce and maintain documentation related to all systems developed/deployedPerform on-call duty for non-business hours support as per shift assignmentsPerform administrative tasks pertaining to time entry and status reportingConfigure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurationsMonitor performance and ensure system availability and reliabilityMonitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planningWork within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructureSelect and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security teamLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem-resolution

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in Networks & TelecommunicationExperience with SD-WAN Silver Peak preferredExperience with Next Gen Firewalls Cisco Firepower preferredExperience in troubleshooting routing loopsHands-on experience in troubleshooting asymmetric routing & STP loop issuesKnowledge of implementation of operational changes & coordination with the project team for project-related changesExperience with Cisco ASA, IPS, ISE, and Cisco WLCProficiency in configuring/troubleshooting routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGPStrong familiarity with LAN switching VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannelAbility to configure/troubleshoot network security IPSec/SSL VPN/Cisco AnyConnect, AAA architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, .

1xFamiliarity with Cisco Catalyst & Nexus 9K/7K series of switchesKnowledge of Cisco IOS, and NX-OS softwareExperience with firewall cloud services Zscaler preferredPrevious experience working on all applications such as SAP, Citrix, Portal, etc
