The EUC Project Tech lead role will be responsible for the technical design of Conde Nast
Global End User compute systems
Working with the EUC Project manager as well as the hub and market-based offshore
delivery teams, the role will help to implement the project to provide a standard build process
for our endpoint devices, application deployment, patching and management
Providing detailed architectural designs and documentation to enable handover to the global
support teams at the end of the project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
● Carry out deep dive market discovery on current endpoint management and deployment systems in place across all markets
● Audit all applications in use and provide a future global strategy.
● Provide detailed documentation on current as-is and planned to-be architecture
● Lead, design and implementation and management of Intune MDM solution ensuring optimal performance, security and scalability.
● Develop a ZeroTouch device provisioning process for Endpoints allowing machines to be shipped to staff with a focus on end user experience.
● Manage the integration of Intune with Azure AD, Autopilot and Okta to provide a
seamless end-user experience and streamline device provisioning, management and authentication process.
● Hands-on experience with OKTA Identity and Access Management platform,
including SSO, MFA and user lifecycle management.
● Familiarity with Google Workspace administration, including device management,
application deployment and security settings.
● Ensure Device management solutions meet company global support structure
requirements with the delegation of tasks to the correct teams.
● Ensure integration with existing systems such as Service Now.
● Coordinate with Network, Devops, Server and Storage teams to implement the
design, providing a clear timeline for required tasks.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
● Extensive experience in migration of MDM environments (eg. FileWave to Intune)
● Proven experience as an Intune MDM Architect with expertise in designing and
implementing MDM solutions.
● Expert knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Azure AD tenant consolidation, including
device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance, policies and application
management.
● A good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls,
switching, routing, wireless, VPN, DNS, etc..)
● Strong technical knowledge as well as good communication and collaboration skills,
delivery of training for technical teams and end users, creating and managing
technical documentation.
● Resolving complex and deep technical issues and coming up with fast efficient
solutions.
● Strong scripting skills in Powershell
● Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with
co-workers, managers and colleagues within the business.
● A self-starter and ability to manage multiple demands with the ability to prioritise.
● Experience working with a geographically dispersed, culturally varied team &
customer base.
● Strong conversation and technical written and spoken English skills
● Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator are preferred.
