Job Role: Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inspection and Baking Repair role supervisor, this role involves ensuring the quality of automotive paint finishes by inspecting painted vehicles and, when necessary, performing repair and maintenance on baking equipment used in the paint shop. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality automotive paintwork.

Educational Qualification: Diploma/Graduation

(With Specialization): Diploma in Mechanical/Production/ Paint Post Graduation

Job Responsibilities

1.Conduct Detailed visual inspections of painted vehicles to identify defects, imperfections, or irregularities in the paintwork.

2.Record inspection findings and generate reports on the condition of painted vehicles.

3. Collaborate with Production and quality control teams to identify issues and Implement corrective actions to rectify defects.

4. Ensure compliance with industry and quality standards for automotive PAINT finishes.

5. Inspect and assess baking equipment, including lamps, hot air guns etc.

6. Plan and execute repair and maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of baking equipment, minimizing production downtime.

7. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

8. Provide training and guidance to repairmans, fostering skill development and expertise in repair methods.

9. Must have hand-on experience of automotive paint repair process.

10. Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging repair techniques related to automotive baking equipment.

11. Should be flexible for accepting other roles given as per organization requirement.

Competencies / Skills Functional/Technical:

Knowledge of automotive paint finishing and inspection methods.

In-depth knowledge of automotive baking equipment operation, maintenance, and repair methods.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for addressing technical issues.
