    Description

    Job Description :

    8+ years of experience and Solid knowledge of the C programming language.

    - In-depth understanding of operating systems concepts, data structures, processor architecture, and virtualization.

    - Expertise in Linux Kernel internals and/or hypervisor technologies in Linux, including but not limited to KVM, QEMU, libvirt.

    - Hands-on experience of architecting atleast one or more features in Linux kernel.

    - Solid understanding and experience with the Linux kernel and related upstream development workflow.

    - Experience with working on open source software using tools such git and associated community participation processes.

    Preferred Professional And Technical Expertise :

    - Prior exposure to opensource community work.

    - A successful engineer in this role will be well recognized in the external and opensource communities and internally and Influence technology roadmaps.

    - Desire to develop career in the areas of opensource, Linux Operating Systems.

    Requirements :

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

    Master's degree preferred.

    Proven experience in Linux kernel development, including kernel module and device driver development.

    Strong proficiency in C programming language.

    Experience with assembly language is a plus.

    In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel internals, including memory management, scheduling, and I/O subsystems.

    Experience with kernel debugging tools such as GDB, KDB, and crash.

    Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

    Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
