- Creation of robust, detailed hi-resolution, compelling images by combining photography, 3D illustration, generative AI technology, and retouching
- Modify existing images including but not limited to
- Compositing multiple images into a cohesive scene
- Color correction
- Removing or adding skin imperfections
- Adding or correcting makeup
- Reshaping of the face and/or body
- Frequency separation technique
- Removing and creating backgrounds from photos
- Smoothing textures
- Layer masking
- Silhouetting images (creating complex masks and providing clipping paths)
- Outfit & accessories retouching
- 3D character development
- Managing web and print assets
- Processing of camera raw files with clean up and color correct digital images
- Completes composition of all finished high-resolution artwork for production usage
- Collaborates with Prose on Pixels artist and agency team members such as Art Directors, Production Managers, and Project Managers to provide accurate assessments of projects.
- Understands the full scope of a project and provides insight as to the best approach from a technical as well as creative perspective.
- Color proofs images on GRACOL or SWOP certified equipment
- Sets-up all final production images to vendor spec and create flattened high-resolution versions of images in both RGB and CMYK color modes
- Applies appropriate color profiles based on production needs
- Complies with procedures and practices regarding workflow, file organization, and management
- Manages time efficiently, meets deadlines, pays attention to detail
- Projects a professional/calm attitude despite high-pressure situations
- Maintains accurate time sheets
- Relevant college degree such as a BA, BFA, or Associate Degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or Multimedia
- Experience retouching in an advertising agency digital studio/production environment, or equivalent experience in a pre-press shop
- Good problem-solving and communication skills (oral and written)
- Must be able to multi-task
- Expert knowledge of Adobe creative suite and image editing software
- Advanced knowledge of photography processes and color theory
- Working knowledge of Adobe Firefly and prompting
- Proficient on MAC platform
- Proficiency in 3-D rendering software such as Cinema 4D a plus
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus
- Experience with commercial photography and lighting a plus
