Position: Factory Manager / Head – Feed Plant Designation: GM / DGM /AGM /Sr.Manager Dept & Location: Feed Operation - Nellore

Key Responsible Areas / Functional Exposures required

1. Plan, execute and achieve the production targets within the budgeted limits. Key areas: Power, Fuel, Yield, Process rejections, Process loss, labour cost

2. Plant maintenance: Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation

3. Effective usage of QA/QC for in-process monitoring & control, process/yield improvements

4. Warehouse activities on raw materials, finished goods, spares

5. Housekeeping & Sanitation of whole factory

6. Prepare, present/operate and comply for Certification & Accreditation (BAP, GMP, 5S, ISO, EU, HACCP, OHSAS, FSSAI), EHS and Statutory body requirements.

7. Resolve & reduce end-user complaints YoY

8. Demonstrate quantifiable process/product improvement through manufacturing specific tools.

Management exposure

Prepare, Track & Control "Revenue, Capital & Manpower budgets"

MIS preparation & presentation

Identifying & engaging vendors for out-sourced services

Exposure to Unionised factory environment (Desirable)

Team building & development, Training

Must be working in SAP/ERP environment

Industry relevance

Feed Mills (1st choice), Poultry, Cattle, Animal feed, Shrimp , Meat , Fisheries, See food

Work experience

Must be currently working min 5 years in the role of LEAD / HEAD of a manufacturing unit comprising multi-disciplinary areas viz. Production, Maintenance (these two areas are must), Quality Assurance/Control, Warehousing etc, having direct reporting managers of above areas and factory head count of min 50+.

Educational & other Qualifications

Min First class Graduate in Mechanical Engg / Food Process Engg / Chemical Engg. / Agricultural Engg. - Additional Management qualification is an added credit.

Languages proficiency

Telugu speaking must. Must fluent in English on oral/presentation communications.
