    Job Description:

    As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. Reporting to the Sales Director/Sales VP, you will play a key role in developing sales strategies, building customer relationships, and driving product adoption in the pharmaceutical market. Your responsibilities will include:

    Sales Strategy and Planning:

    • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
    • Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales strategies with business objectives.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals.
    • Providing guidance, training, and support to sales team members to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales effectiveness.
    • Conducting performance evaluations, setting performance targets, and providing regular feedback to drive continuous improvement.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Identifying customer needs, understanding their challenges, and providing tailored solutions to address their requirements.
    • Actively engaging with customers to promote product awareness, drive product adoption, and generate sales opportunities.

    Sales Operations and Reporting:

    • Overseeing sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
    • Monitoring sales performance metrics, analyzing sales data, and generating insights to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements.
    • Ensuring compliance with sales policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales management, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market dynamics, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
    • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes and exceeding customer expectations.
    • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and customer needs.
