    Description

    Job Description :

    A Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Java-based applications and services. This role involves working with the Spring Boot framework to create scalable, resilient, and modular backend systems that follow microservices principles. The Java Developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and performance objectives.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Java Development :

    • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services using Spring Boot.
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
    • Implement software solutions that adhere to architectural principles and design patterns.

    Microservices Architecture :

    • Design and implement microservices-based architectures for distributed systems.
    • Decompose monolithic applications into smaller, independent services that can be developed, deployed, and scaled independently.
    • Define service boundaries, APIs, and communication protocols to enable seamless interaction between microservices.

    API Development :

    • Create RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, following API design best practices and standards.
    • Implement API endpoints for data retrieval, manipulation, and integration with external systems.
    • Ensure API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms are implemented effectively.

    Database Management :

    • Integrate with various databases, including relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
    • Design database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data consistency and integrity.
    • Implement data access layer using Spring Data or Hibernate ORM frameworks.

    Testing and Quality Assurance :

    • Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to validate the functionality and performance of Java applications and microservices.
    • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and compliance with architectural guidelines.
    • Perform static code analysis, profiling, and debugging to identify and fix defects and performance issues.

    Deployment and DevOps :

    • Package, deploy, and manage Java applications and microservices using containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
