Dew Software is looking for a skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a leading player in the Digital Transformation space, our organization operates from 14 development centers across 9 countries, enabling us to tap into diverse talent and expertise from around the world. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our software development projects. You will closely collaborate with the development team to design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts, with the objective of reducing manual testing efforts and maximizing testing coverage. Identifying defects and tracking them to resolution will also be part of your responsibilities. You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans that align with technical and business requirements. Requirements

• Design, develop and implement test plans, test cases for web user interfaces.
• Review and analyse system specifications. Responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches in an Agile environment.
• Test and oversee automated testing and sign off on release code.
• Develop automation tests framework using Playwright testing tools.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, development teams and downstream systems.
• Support the production release, and help triaging issues on time.
• Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in test automation.
• Candidate should have strong automation skills with Playwright automation tools.
• Solid programming experience using one or more of the languages: Angular JS/ JavaScript/Type Script.
• Good hands-on experience in HTML DOM structure or CSS.
• Strong database testing using SQL data validation/analysis.
• Proficient in designing/creating test automation framework.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases from requirements/user stories for the web applications

Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2. At least 9+ years of practical experience in backend development, with a strong command of one or more programming languages like Python, Go or JAVA. 3. Proven experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems for high-traffic applications. 4. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud) and container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). 5. Solid understanding of database systems and data modeling, as well as proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases. 6. Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, and understanding of microservices architecture. 7. Knowledge of security best practices and data protection measures for backend systems. 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. 9. Excellent team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
