    Description
    • Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes for the production of aerospace components or products.
    • Work closely with design engineers and ensure that the manufacturing processes are compatible with the design specifications.
    • Continually analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement by using techniques such as data analysis, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and optimize productivity.
    • Collaborate with tooling engineers and suppliers to select the appropriate equipment, machinery, and tools needed for efficient and reliable manufacturing processes considering factors such as cost, capability, reliability, and technological advancements.
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flow diagrams.
    • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen and lead or contribute to cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement changes, and monitor their effectiveness.
    • Work closely with quality team to ensure that manufacturing processes meet the required quality standards and specifications.
    • Training and Support:

    Manufacturing Process Engineers provide training and technical support to manufacturing personnel.

    They help operators understand and execute the established processes correctly and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

    Focuses on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve operational excellence, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality in the aerospace manufacturing industry.

    Guide Tooling and Fixture Design Engineers in designing and developing various types of tools that may include designing molds, dies, cutting tools, and develop customized tooling and fixture solutions to meet the unique needs of the manufacturing processes and ensure efficient and precise operations

    • Experience 15-20 years proven experience in the field of manufacturing of aerospace, defence components and automobile industries. Knowledge of Machining, Sheet metal, Tubes & Special processes CAD, CAM, Tool design, Tooling shop support, Configuration, Manufacturing process
    • Education Graduate or Post graduation in Mechanical Engineering
