    Transition Senior ManagerEY team:
    Ernst & Young performs professional services globally, including auditing, assurance, consulting & tax.

    This role is supporting Finance Operations (within Tax Service line), who provide the client with immediate access to an entire finance function delivering end to end services from transaction processing, accounting, monthly reporting through the statutory and tax cycle.


    Role:
    This role is expected to project manage (design, implement and run) transitions to new locations, systems and process.

    The key deliverables for this role are:

    Plan, drive execution and report on transitionEstablish end to end project plan (including due diligence, scoping, hiring, knowledge transfer & documentation, UAT, data migration, hyper care etc.) & construct business caseDrive execution of plan within schedule, budget and scopeCommunicate progress to stakeholders (incl.

    operations teams, client & EY leadership)Analyse, develop, document and implement changes based on requests for changeStakeholder, change and risk managementResponsible for governance of tollgates defined per methodology for own projects/program (portfolio management)Assist with building and deploying a standard methodology for transitionsContribute to implementation of project management tool ( Smartsheet)Contribute to building & deploying a standard transition methodology or improving itMonitor effectiveness of KT models, go live & day plansPilot and test design new methodology

    OtherUnderstand cost of transitionManage & coach more junior resources in the teamAd hoc initiativesProfile:The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience including (a) controllership in a shared services environment, (b) transition & project management to COE's as well as onto new systemsFinance domain knowledge

    Controllership and Finance experience, including qualification in finance, has a good understanding of finance operations processes (R2R, B2P, O2C, ...) Work with Shared Services (captive or outsourced but preferably captive)Project management knowledge


    Experience of transitioning complex F&A projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost Understand and ideally has participated in or led an ERP or other IT tool implementation & understands the different steps in the lifecycle of such a project.

    Education & Certification Requirements:
