    About the Job

    The objective of this job is to support the Sales department to drive sales and revenue generation for the waste management company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including government authorities like liasoning to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

    Job Responsibilities

    Sales and Customer Interaction:

    • Execute targeted sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts.
    • Conduct needs assessments and present customized waste management solutions to meet customer requirements.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable deals.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively addressing concerns and building long-term relationships.
    • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing and beyond.

    Liaisoning:

    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with relevant government authorities.
    • Stay updated on government regulations and compliance requirements in the waste management industry.
    • Secure necessary permits and approvals for customer projects.
    • Advocate for the company's interests and build trust with government officials.

    · Respond to inquiries and audits from government agencies regarding compliance matters.

    MIS Validation:

    • Analyse and validate data in the Management Information System (MIS) related to sales performance and customer accounts.
    • Generate accurate reports and insights to support informed decision-making.
    • Identify and address any data discrepancies or anomalies.

    Customer Relationship (Key Accounts):

    • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and continued business.
    • Proactively identify and address their needs and concerns.
    • Regularly communicate value propositions and propose solutions to drive account growth.
    • Track and analyse key account performance metrics and report findings to management.

    Payment Follow Up:

    • Monitor outstanding payments and proactively follow up with delinquent customers.
    • Implement effective collection strategies to ensure timely receipt of payments.
    • Maintain accurate records of payment history and collection activities.

    Technical Skills Required

    · A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, B. Com, M. Com MBA, or any other relevant field.

    · A minimum work-experience of at least 5-7 years with a proven track record in sales, preferably in the waste management or related industry.

    · Strong understanding of waste management processes and services.

    · Familiarity with government regulations and compliance standards related to waste management.

    · Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    · Excellent negotiation and communication skills with fluency in English and Hindi.

    Soft Skills Required

    · Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

    · Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and objectives.

    · Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle objections and resolve conflicts.

    · Self-motivated and proactive in seeking out new business opportunities.

    · Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
