You will be responsible for products that help customers answer their most substantial questions by allowing them to visualize, explore, and understand their operational, application, business, and customer data. This role requires
  • 8+ years of technical leadership helping engineering teams thrive
  • Exposure to areas of Database Products( Database Engine Internals ) such as Query Optimization and Query Execution, Distributed database & Parallel Query Execution, Expression optimization & evaluation
  • Experience with: C, C++, Unix, Linux, Windows, Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Internals, PostgreSQL, CitusDB, MySQL.
  • Experience working with one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Extensive experience in a SaaS environment, building and operating large scale distributed systems.
  • Ability to collaborate and impact decisions at the interpersonal level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Observability domain knowledge
  • Experience operating containerized services (Kubernetes, Mesos/Marathon)
  • Solid understanding of databases (RDS, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with configuration management tooling (Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet)
  • BS/MS/PhD in CS (or equivalent).
