PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Lead a team of Data Analysts/Programmers (at minimum 4 audit staff and a maximum of 6) in carrying out implementation of innovative ideas, digital transformation, and automation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic
Provide support to Head of Audit Innovation and Digitalization in achieving vision, mission, and strategic initiatives of Internal Audit.
Collaborate with BSG, IT, ISG, ITDRM, Finance, Legal, Analytics units in the bank etc. for implementing strategic initiatives of Internal Audit.
Prepare financial budget and Human Resources budget for IAI&DT considering strategic initiatives & demand.
Identify outsourced entities supplying necessary resources/expertise to meet demand and follow the bank's process to onboard such vendor/resources.
Plan and organize technology resources for IAI&DT based on the needs.
Prepare operational process documents for IAI&DT and review & update as per the frequency defined.
Keep abreast with the latest in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and ensure that bank's Audit systems and processes are evolving constantly and keeping pace with the changes in the world.
Tactical
Review solutions designed and developed by IAI&DT and provide necessary inputs to ensure alignment with IAI&DT's strategy, architecture framework.
Review technical documentation related to solution and provide necessary inputs to improver quality and usefulness of the document.
Manage and execute the POC/projects of various tools & technologies for Internal Audit in coordination with vendors.
Review and approve milestone-based plans for various projects and monitor the progress of completion of various projects as per the defined plan.
Participate in discussions with key stakeholders (End users/Leaders within audit or outside audit) in explaining solution/thought process and provide necessary support for user adoption.
Manage escalations by end users and ensure necessary action to address user's concerns.
Identify issues/opportunities for improving the process & track the same till closure.
Guide the programmers in the team and supervise the progress of their projects.
Ensure timely completion of projects by resolving impediments faced by the team in completing their tasks.
Qualification Requirements -
At least a Bachelor of Science / Data Science with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Engineering background
Certifications in areas such as Data Science, AIML, Python, R will be an added advantage

Keep abreast with the latest developments in IT and Data Science.
Agility/drive/attitude to keep learning and upskilling in the new areas of Digital Technologies
Keep abreast with the latest developments and regulations in Banking and Audit
Be up to date with news and trends in banking related frauds
Should be able to develop an excellent rapport with Regional Heads and senior stakeholders in the Audit department and other departments in the bank and participate in various Digital committees in the bank.
Should have excellent presentation skills and be able to articulate / communicate well at senior management level apart from excellent written skills.
Should be able to interact with various external entities and organizations specialized in digital technologies
Experience Required
At least years of working experience in relevant field or related field is required for this position
