We're looking to add depth to our NCR CFR/Payments team.

As a senior member of the quality engineering team, you'll be responsible for adding momentum to our efforts to modernize and evolve the industry's most widely deployed Payments system.

You'll ensure our code is testable, through your upfront participation in design reviews and code walkthroughs.

As an evangelist for engineering quality, you'll be on point to ensure that the project team understands testing process and error documentation.

You'll be an advocate for the use automation tools and techniques applied to unit tests.

Working with software engineers, your test plans will ensure that our test cases cover the entire scope of user stories delivered in each and every sprint.

Collaborate across teams to develop solution-based test plans and ensure that feedback from different stake holders is incorporated.

Maintain a high-level understanding of other NCR product lines to assess their impact on the overall solutionFlexible to work in different areas like Backend, UI and API testing.

Manage and maintain the QA environments and also plan for the future improvements and support in the planningAnalyze user stories and business process requirements to estimate quality risksBasic Qualifications9+ years of professional software testing experience desiredStrong knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, Java, C++, etcHands-on experience in framework development & maintenance for Automation projectsExperience in testing front-end, back-end and API components of cloud-based and/or client/server productsBachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experienceExcellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skillsStrong knowledge of Agile development practices (especially Scrum), methodologies and tools.

Expertise in Database concepts and testing using SQL\NoSQLExperience with web services REST/SOAP API test automationPerformance & functional test automation experienceExperience with web-based testing tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Protractor etc.

Experience in SCM like Git, CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
