About the Role:

The Architect will be responsible for architectural design, planning, and execution support for residential apartments, villa communities, and open land developments. The role involves close coordination with management, internal project teams, consultants, and statutory authorities to ensure high-quality, compliant, and client-centric architectural solutions from concept to execution.

Responsibilities:

Leadership Engagement & Design Development:

• Engage with Management to understand project requirements, functional objectives, aesthetic preferences, timelines, and budgets.
• Translate management or briefs into innovative architectural concepts while maintaining practicality and cost efficiency.
• Present design proposals, layouts, elevations, and walkthroughs to clients and senior management.

Architectural Planning & Documentation:

• Collaborate with design engineers, project engineers, construction managers, and senior leadership to ensure seamless execution.
• Provide architectural guidance during construction and resolve design-related site issues.
• Develop detailed 2D architectural drawings including floor plans, sections, elevations, and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Ensure 100% Vaastu-compliant planning where applicable.
• Prepare comprehensive working drawings for site execution, including architectural, electrical, plumbing, and coordination drawings.
• Support preparation of BOQs, design proposals, and technical documentation.

Site Visits & Design Control:

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor architectural compliance and provide clarifications or design corrections as required.
• Participate in client meetings, review sessions, and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance & Approvals:

• Ensure all designs comply with local building by laws (GHMC), zoning regulations, and development norms.
• Coordinate with liaison personnel for statutory approvals including building permissions, TDR, mortgage approvals, and other regulatory clearances.

Consultant & Agency Coordination:

• Liaise with structural consultants, MEP designers, interior designers, and external agencies to ensure coordinated and clash-free designs.
• Review consultant drawings and integrate them into architectural packages while maintaining overall project quality.

Continuous Improvement & Industry Awareness:

• Stay updated on evolving architectural trends, construction materials, sustainable practices, and emerging design technologies.
• Recommend design optimizations to enhance project efficiency, constructability, and value engineering.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) with 7–15 years of proven experience in real estate development firms or reputed architectural practices handling large-scale development projects.
• Strong expertise in architectural design, space planning, and detailing, with the ability to translate concepts into practical and executable designs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit, along with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant CAD and design tools.
• Thorough understanding of local building codes, zoning regulations, and development norms applicable to Hyderabad and Telangana.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, presentations, and coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Strong project leadership capability, with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams including structural, MEP, interior, and project management stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills, with a professional approach to client and internal stakeholder interactions.
• Exposure to sustainable design principles, green building practices, and contemporary architectural trends will be considered an added advantage.
