You will work with a wide array of technologies to enhance, modernize, and build enterprise-scale applications for the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate is a team player but can also work independently in a fast-paced environment, with little guidance and is organized, resourceful, detailed oriented and pro-active. You will work with a wide array of technologies on multiple applications.


Responsibilities:

Design and develop web-based applications & APIs - server side, middle layer and client side using Java, SQL and Unix Collaborate with business and application leadership to develop strategy, architecture & designs for solutions that meet business imperatives.

Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and work independently Provides technical support to business users on the team's development initiatives Exploring and prototyping new ways of meeting our business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Computer Science or Engineering degree, or a related technical discipline. Will consider equivalent work experience. Proficiency developing Java web apps for 5+ years, using Java 8+.

Experience developing RESTful and SOAP APIs Experience with JavaScript MVC frameworks, preferably Will consider Angular, React, or Experience with MS SQL Server, Tomcat, RHEL and Windows Server.

Experience with jQuery, HTML5, CSS3 Familiar with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security Familiar with JPA/Hibernate Familiar with Javascript UI frameworks like Bootstrap or jQueryUI Desired Skills:

Experience using Javascript visualization library Highcharts Experience with Swagger API Documentation, Git(Github) & JIRA Experience with Groovy, Unix Shell scripting Experience with multi-threading, multi-tiered and multi-tenant solutions Experience learning new open source software, APIs, and frameworks.

Experience in healthcare/payer industry
