We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and contribute to the growth of our conferences, events, website advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Identify and Pursue Business Opportunities:

    - Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partners, and sponsors for conferences, events, website advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events.

    - Develop a strategic approach to target and engage key players in the conferences, events, digital advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events industries.

    2. Client Relationship Management:

    - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients for conferences, events, website advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events.

    - Understand client needs and objectives to tailor conference, event, advertising, branded content, digital product, and custom event solutions accordingly.

    3. Sales and Revenue Generation:

    - Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for conferences, events, website advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events.

    - Negotiate and finalize agreements with sponsors, exhibitors, partners, digital advertisers, content creators, digital product providers, and custom event clients.

    4. Event Portfolio Expansion:

    - Collaborate with the events team to identify opportunities for new conferences, events, and custom events.

    - Work towards expanding the scope and reach of existing conferences and events.

    5. Website Advertisement Slot Sales:

    - Identify potential advertisers interested in reaching our website audience.

    - Develop sales strategies specifically for website advertisement slots.

    - Negotiate and finalize agreements with advertisers for website advertisement slots.

    6. Branded Content Sales:

    - Identify opportunities for branded content creation and sales.

    - Collaborate with content creators and clients to develop compelling branded content solutions.

    - Negotiate and finalize agreements for branded content placement.

    7. New Age Digital Products:

    - Explore and evaluate new age digital products that align with our audience and objectives.

    - Develop sales strategies for new age digital products such as virtual event platforms, digital networking tools, etc.

    - Negotiate and finalize agreements for the sale or integration of new age digital products.

    8. Custom Events:

    - Work closely with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements.

    - Develop customized event proposals tailored to meet clients' specific needs.

    - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of custom events.

    9. Work from Office and Extensive Travel:

    - Be based in the office for regular meetings, collaboration, and coordination with the team.

    - Extensively travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company in conferences, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

    10. Market Analysis and Trends:

    - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments in conferences, events, digital advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events.

    - Provide regular reports on market intelligence and competitor analysis.

    11. Collaboration with Marketing:

    - Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for conferences, events, website advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events.

    - Provide input on the creation of marketing collateral to attract sponsors, participants, digital advertisers, content creators, digital product providers, and custom event clients.

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

    - Atleast 8 years of proven experience in B2B business development, sales, within the conferences, events, digital advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events.

    - Strong understanding of the conferences, events, digital advertising, branded content, new age digital products, and custom events market trends and dynamics.

    - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

    - Willingness and ability to work from the office and travel extensively as required.

    - Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
