Join our Global Data Insight & Analytics team to play a crucial role in providing strategic guidance to Ford by analyzing business data and market trends. Your expertise in data and analytics will empower decision-makers to make informed choices efficiently.

    As a part of this role, you will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications both on-premises and in the cloud. You will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle by crafting software architecture, coding, testing for quality, and deploying software solutions that align with customer needs. This position also encompasses full-stack software engineering responsibilities where you will work on all software components, including user interfaces and backend systems.

    • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields. 1+ year of experience in cloud platforms (GCP, PCF, Azure), utilizing technologies like Terraform and BigQuery. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Angular, React, Spring, and Node technologies. Strong adherence to software engineering practices such as Clean Code and Test-Driven Development.
    • Openness to collaborate closely with team members on a daily basis.
    • Keen interest in leveraging technology to enhance customer experience.
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines like Tekton and Cloud Build.

    Desired Skills

    • Excellent collaboration skills with technical experts, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and business stakeholders.
    • Track record of delivering products with front-end development expertise in web technologies like JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like Angular.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines, and exposure to machine learning, mathematical modeling, and data analysis.
    • Prior experience with Agile methodologies and tools like CA Agile Central (Rally).
    • Proficiency in microservices development, fundamental data modeling, and strong analytical capabilities.
