The Safety Section Head will oversee and manage all aspects of health and safety within the organization, ensuring compliance with legal standards and promoting a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the safety team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance workplace safety.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and emergency response procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, compiling reports and suggesting improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to health and safety.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in safety management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in India.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports on safety metrics and compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration.
• Proficient in using safety management software and tools.
