    Description

    We are retained by a leading agro chemical company that is well established and has a growing business to hire a Supply Chain Manager.

    This role will oversee and optimize the supply chain operations of the organisation by executing centralized plans.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural supply chain management, with a keen understanding of logistics, procurement, inventory management, distribution processes and production planning.


    Please note:


    previous experience in Agro chemical industry is a must for this role so only apply if you have done that.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Align SCM strategies with business strategies and market dynamics.
    • Develop and streamline SCM processes and manage Demand planning.
    • Ensure implementation of SCM excellence tools and approach.
    • Effectively collaborate with all stakeholders including retail sales marketing and finance and reduce cost.
    • Support strategy execution for logistics and warehousing.
    • Implement financial metrics and associated KPIs for supplychain network and vendors.

    To fit the bill:

    • 16+ years in Supply chain with exposure to agro chemical industries.
    • Handled overall SCM along with executing cost saving strategies.
    • Understanding of warehousing, procurement, production planning and SAP.
    • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
    • MBA in (Logistics Management / Operations) preferred.
