    Description


    We seek to strengthen the business development team of the Metallurgy Division with the new position of Key Account Manager - Business Development.

    This position will report to the Assistant General Manager - Business Development.


    The incumbent will be responsible for continuous scanning of the industry environment for opportunities both in terms possible new products, existing product line and new potential customers.

    Analysing the current market trend to understand potential business opportunities and manage business relationships with customers, consultants, process licensers and EPC companies.


    General background:

    The ideal candidate is an engineering graduate with a post-graduate qualification in Sales/Marketing and years' experience in Business Development roles in similar industry.


    Areas of experience sought:

    • Servicing existing customers/Key Accounts independently.
    • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
    • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
    • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
    • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
    • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
    • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
    • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into longlasting relationships.
    • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
    • Communicating and collaborating with the advertising, design, marketing, sales, and logistics departments to ensure that key clients' needs are met.
    • Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.
    • Developing a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions.
    • Negotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each client's longterm goals.

    Travel & Mobility:
    The position is based in Mumbai and frequent travel is anticipated.
