Assistant Manager – Global Indirect Taxes and Trade - Pune

Primary Responsibilities:

• and draft various types of litigation and advisory related documents for providing indirect tax services.
• with GST, customs and other tax authorities to support the clients.
• and guide a team of 2-3 individuals for indirect tax related services.
• a portfolio of clients and support the partner in providing global indirect tax and trade services.
• discuss with clients and provide solutions as well as close negotiations.
• the partner in MIS and invoicing related support in respect of the existing clients
• responsive to client demands, project deadlines, and addressing team queries and resolution.
• zero escalations from the client.
• to learn the subject matter and grow in the organisation

Role specific skillsets:

• 4-5 years of experience in Indirect Tax including customs and FTP.
• must have an experience on indirect tax related advisories, litigations and liasoning with tax authorities
• communications skills and stakeholder management experience.
• having an experience and ability in handling a team of 2-3 members.
• to manage clients through improvement planning and long term vision of improving service levels.
• take ownership of his/her work and initiate required activities to get the results.
• solving attitude and willing to learn.

Educational Qualifications Preferred
