    The Team (FSTRM)
    Financial Services & Treasury Risk Management is part of the wider PwC's Advisory services in
    India and
    comprises subject matter experts with deep industry experience and from varied backgrounds
    including
    banking, insurance, risk management, treasury, rating analyst, information technology, and actuarial
    consulting.
    The Role
    The role is for an experience actuarial professional with prior work experience in the Indian Non-Life
    insurance industry.
    You will be providing high-quality consulting and technical services to our clients both in India and
    overseas. The role offers the opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, growing consulting team
    focused on
    solving challenging problems through collaboration and team effort.
    The ideal candidate will be involved in all of our core activities - IFRS 17, Audit Reviews, Due
    diligence,
    and Capital Modelling.
    The Requirements
    I. QUALIFICATION

    • Minimum 9 years of experience in Insurance or Consulting Firms in Non-life Domain
    • Qualified Non-Life Actuary, with minimum 2 years of Post qualification experience
    • The candidate should have prior experience of working in the India domestic market through
    insurance or consulting.
    II. EXPERTISE

    • Thorough understanding of Non-life insurance products, Indian statutory requirements,
    shareholder reporting

    • Expertise in at least two of the following areas: Pricing and product development/Reserving
    /business planning/IFRS 17

    • Working knowledge of, Emblem, Radar, ResQ is a plus
    III. INDIVIDUAL ATTRIBUTES

    • Strong communication skills
    • Good attitude and be a part of team player
    • Ability to interact and make presentations
    Mandatory skill sets- Actuarial Science
    Preferred skill sets- Qualified Actuary
    Year of experience required- 9+ Years
