Position Overview: The Senior Analyst, Payroll Operations, will play a key role in managing payroll activities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing insightful analysis of payroll data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processes, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to handle customer queries efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of our payroll operations while supporting our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Payroll Management: Demonstrate strong working knowledge in handling payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
• Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of country-specific statutory requirements and ensure all payroll practices are compliant with these regulations.
• Report Validation: Validate various payroll reports, conduct thorough analyses of variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Process Documentation: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for payroll processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency in operations.
• Customer Support: Handle customer queries related to payroll, providing clear and effective solutions to enhance employee satisfaction.
Education and Experience Required:
• Educational Background: Graduate in B.Com or any degree with an accounting background, with a minimum of 60% and above aggregate scores.
• Experience:
o Sr Analyst I: 10-12 years of total experience in ANZ or Asia Payroll
Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Payroll Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of payroll processes, including compliance with statutory requirements.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze payroll data, identify variances, and provide detailed reports.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and respond to queries.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to collaborate and work within various teams, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.
