- Appraise non-medical risks for life insurance application Using factors such as age, occupation, medical history, financial standing and other relevant conditions that determine insurability Appraise level of risk involved in applications With adverse findings Where opinion or decision is necessary for acceptance/rejection of insurance coverage Evaluate adverse condition and analyze the supporting documents of the applicants
- Recommend, accept, reject insurance coverage within limits set in the underwriting policy
- 100% Check for AML/KYC docs/Product specifications
- Conduct audits on underwriting files to ensure standards are met. Telecall the customer in case of suspicious profiles
- Partner with CET/Distribution to reduce NFTR
- Leading insta-issuance/6 hourly issuance for the channels assigned
- No instance of escalation to next level should be reported incase of mails and Calls/CARS
- Positive Feedback from Field ops-ZCSM/Channel Head
- Leading team of underwriters
- Ensure Team quality scores as published are within the targets defined
- Motivate and educate human capital
- One on one are conducted Monthly or as required
- Yearly appraisals
