    I. Basic Information of the Position


    Position Name: Assistant Manager - Human Resources


    Function: HR - Talent Acquisition (Operations)


    Location: Mumbai


    II. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Role


    1. Recruitment & Onboarding:


    • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job portals, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to identify and attract top talent.
    • Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
    • Ensure candidates have a clear understanding of the role, responsibilities.
    • Assess skills like adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving that contribute to employee resilience and retention.
    • Schedule interviews, communicate with hiring managers, HODs.
    • Release offers, negotiate terms, and facilitate background checks.
    • Coordinate new hire paperwork, facilitate orientation sessions, introduce company policies, and ensure new employees have the necessary tools and access.

    2. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:


    • Educate employees on HR policies and company standards, ensuring consistent adherence.
    • Address grievances, mediate conflicts, and investigate misconduct, if necessary.
    • Document and administer disciplinary measures, collaborating with management to ensure fair practices.
    • Coordinate with payroll team to resolve payroll discrepancies.

    3. Statutory Compliance:


    • Handle employment-related statutory letters, such as issuing letters for policy violations, misconduct, or performance issues.
    • Handle various legal notices, such as absconding, showcause notices, etc.

    4. Offboarding:


    • Conduct exit interviews, gather feedback, and manage the administrative aspects of offboarding.
    • Facilitate clarity and coordinate with payroll for F&F process.
    • Ensure all processes comply with local and national labor laws, maintaining proper documentation for audits.

    III. Performance Measures and Indicators for the Role:


    • Hiring TAT
    • Quality of Hire / Sourcing Efficiency
    • Source Mix
    • Cost-per-Hire
    • Interview-to-Offer Ratio
    • Offer Acceptance Rate

    IV. Knowledge and Skills:


    • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience: 4 to 7 years, with 3+ years of experience in FMCG/Retail/QSR chains.
    • Candidate must have handled store-level hiring with 30-40 closures monthly.
    • Experienced in hiring team members, brew masters, cafe managers, assistant cafe managers, and support functions.

    Functional Skills:

    • Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role.
    • Results-driven and goal-oriented.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Adaptability and flexibility.

    Technical Skills:

    • Extensive experience in recruitment and staffing.
    • Strong knowledge in creating job descriptions and key metrics for the role.
    • Strong convincing skills, active listening skills.
    • Good experience in negotiation skills.
    • Ability to handle Pan India activities.

    Language Fluency: English, Hindi, Local Language
