    Job Description :


    You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and testing of ABAP programs and functionalities, with a focus on leveraging OData services for data access and integration.


    Responsibilities :

    • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ABAP development.
    • Design, develop, test, and implement robust and reusable ABAP programs using core ABAP, OO-ABAP concepts, and newer ABAP syntaxes
    • Develop and maintain OData services for efficient data access and integration with external applications.
    • Utilize CDS Views and AMDPs for data modeling and enhancing application performance.
    • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand user needs and ensure technical solutions meet business objectives.
    • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and participate in system integration testing.
    • Implement user exits, BADIs, Smart Forms, ALVs, and RFCs as needed for specific functionalities.
    • Manage data migration projects, including migrating master data from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA.
    • Work closely with architects, developers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Participate in code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions to maintain code quality and share expertise.
    • Stay updated on the latest ABAP developments and best practices.

    Mandatory Skills :

    • Strong understanding of SAP ABAP with a minimum of 79 years of experience.
    • Experience in implementing SAP solutions.
    Proven expertise in core ABAP, OO-ABAP, CDS Views, and AMDPs.

    • Indepth knowledge of OData services for data exposure.
    • Experience with newer ABAP syntaxes introduced in version 7.5 and above.

    Desirable Skills :

    • Experience with ALE/IDOCs, Interface protocols (SOAP/REST), and SOAMANAGER.
    • Experience working on S/4 HANA projects.
    • Handson experience with data migration tools and processes.
    • Familiarity with Adobe Forms development.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
