Job Details

• Work Location: Nerul Mindspace, Navi Mumbai
• Work Type: Work From Office
• Asset: Laptop mandatory for interview

• Interview Rounds: 2 (F2F only)

• Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (5 years, extendable by mutual consent)

Experience Required

• 1420 years of total relevant experience
• Minimum 4 years in leadership roles in AI/ML

Key Skills (Must Have)

• Deep experience building end-to-end AI/ML applications with Big Data technologies

• Extensive expertise in:

• Machine Learning

• Statistical Modelling

• Data Mining Techniques

• High proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages

• Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, or other Big Data tools
• Strong understanding of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of OpenShift, AWS, GCP, and MLOps pipelines
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and Ethical AI

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-performing data science team
• Develop and implement ReBIT's data science strategy aligned with RBI/central banking objectives
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML and advanced analytics
• Provide thought leadership to drive competitive advantage

• Oversee design, development, and deployment of:

• Predictive and prescriptive models

• Recommendation systems

• AI/ML applications

• Implement advanced techniques including deep learning, NLP, and computer vision

• Ensure scalable model deployment using MLOps practices
• Mentor and guide data scientists, analysts, and engineers
• Communicate complex insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards
• Establish best practices for data governance and ethical AI
• Oversee development of data pipelines and architecture
• Define and monitor KPIs for data science initiatives
• Continuously evaluate model effectiveness against business needs

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Management
• Master's degree preferred

Industry Preference

Candidates from Technology, ITES, Product, or Professional SI organizations with BFSI exposure preferred.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Big Data / Data Science certifications
