    Description

    Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) :

    Must-Have :

    1. Responsible for implementation and support of the Enterprise Hadoop environment.

    2. Involves designing, capacity arrangement, cluster set up, performance fine-tuning, monitoring, structure planning, scaling and administration.

    3. Experience in Ranger installation, configuration & implementing the policies for different use cases.

    4. Possess good hands on knowledge on Hive, HUE and RDBMS

    5. Experience in working with Amazon services - EMR S3, Kinesis, Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3


    Good-to-Have : Python and PowerShell Scripting skills


    SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

    1. Responsible for implementation and support of the Enterprise Hadoop environment.

    6. Experience in troubleshooting issues on EMR and Hive

    7. Experience in Cluster Management and Capacity Planning

    8. Exposure to best practice and standards to be followed and monitoring mechanisms for the same

    9. Python and PowerShell Scripting skills would be added advantage

    Data Flux and tremendous visibility to senior customer management.
