Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance (QA) - Forging Industry,machining & heat treatment process

Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Manager with 8-10 years of extensive experience in the forging industry to lead our quality management team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of forging processes, materials, and quality control methodologies, along with a proven track record of implementing and managing comprehensive quality assurance programs. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in product quality and operational excellence. Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management Leadership:

• Develop and implement strategic quality initiatives and objectives aligned with business goals and customer requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to the quality management team, ensuring adherence to quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

1. Process Optimization:

• Lead efforts to optimize forging processes, improve product quality, and enhance operational efficiency through the application of quality tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) effectively.

1. Supplier Quality Management:

• Oversee supplier quality management activities, including supplier evaluation, qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Establish strong relationships with key suppliers and drive continuous improvement in supplier quality and reliability.

1. Quality Control and Inspection:

• Define and implement robust quality control procedures and inspection criteria for incoming materials, in-process inspections, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances, material specifications, and customer requirements through thorough inspection and testing.

1. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and certifications relevant to the forging industry, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP.
• Stay updated on changes in quality standards and regulatory requirements, and ensure timely implementation of necessary updates and improvements.

1. Quality Assurance Systems:

• Manage and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to meet internal quality objectives and external regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal audits

and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.

1. Training and Development:

• Provide training and mentorship to quality assurance team members and other personnel on quality standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Foster a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze quality metrics, performance data, and customer feedback to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive quality reports and presentations for management review, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

1. Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate quality-related risks, including product defects, non-conformances, and supplier disruptions, to minimize impact on product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Quality Management, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Manager) preferred.
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance or quality control roles within the forging or metalworking industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of forging processes, materials, metallurgy, and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), quality tools, and methodologies, such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and APQP.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and certification processes, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools for data analysis, reporting, and documentation management.
