    The role of Land Acquisition Assistant Manager/Dy. Manager is a critical part of our mission to advance large-scale photovoltaics and meet the growing global demand for clean electricity.

    About the Role:

    We are developing solar, wind and solar-wind hybrid sites across India, requiring a deep understanding of land and related approvals as a subject. If you have hands-on experience in land acquisition for large solar and wind projects in India, this could be an exciting opportunity for you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leading the land acquisition process, including meeting required compliances.
    • Identifying suitable land facilitators/aggregators in Maharashtra, ranking them based on their resources, past performances, and market presence.
    • Visiting sites to identify potential risks and scrutinize site options for suitability.
    • Supervising land facilitators/aggregators and overseeing the land acquisition process.
    • Liaising with Maharashtra government authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
    • Ensuring clear and marketable title of the land before acquisition and resolving potential RoW issues.
    • Working closely with aggregators to execute MoUs, Sale/Lease Deeds, and related documents.
    • Maintaining regular MIS reports on litigations, notices, and legal compliances.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Thorough understanding of land acquisition and related processes, applicable laws in Maharashtra.
    • Deep understanding of land suitability analysis for solar and wind projects.
    • Versatility in using GPS instruments, .kmz files, revenue maps, etc.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Significant experience in land acquisition involving revenue/forest/private land exploration.
    • In-depth knowledge of Land Revenue Act, Stamp & Registration Act, Forest Conservation Act, etc.
    • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in land procurement/acquisition in Maharashtra for Solar and Wind Projects.
    • Proven track record of land acquisition for large Utility-based projects in Maharashtra state.
