    Role Description:

    The Revenue Manager is responsible for managing the Revenue Management function for the company and/or cluster that they are responsible for, including the Airbnb system. It is the Revenue Manager's responsibility to ensure that each Hotel in the Revenue Manager's portfolio achieves budgeted RevPAR and has an optimum STR RGI performance. Revenue Manager handles Channel Distribution, ensuring all OTA's and are set up and selling our hotels correctly, including content and connection, including the management and configuration of the Global Distribution System and the integration with the Property Management System and Channel Manager. The Revenue Manager supports the General Revenue Manager in daily revenue management and distribution duties as well as supporting both the General Revenue Manager and Chief Commercial Officer by completing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting functions as required. The Revenue Manager fills in for the General Revenue Manager in their absence. The Revenue Manager works closely alongside the Revenue Analysts and Revenue Support Officers to achieve revenue targets, complete projects and the daily revenue management and distribution duties.

    Responsibilities

    1. Pricing and Yield Management for all hotels in the portfolio, including Airbnb.

    2. Analyse daily movements on the occupancy reports and OTA Insight tool.

    3. Focus on Pricing, Market Trends, Competitors and Revenue Analysis on OTA Insight Tool.

    4. Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.

    5. Assist with Airbnb listings including listing management, content and communication process coordination. Ensure listings reach optimal performance.

    6. Ensure optimization of content and images across online distribution channels.

    7. Monitor online rate parity and perform audit reports for all properties across online distribution channels.

    8. Manage and maintain the GDS (Global Distribution System) platform (currently Sabre Synxis) to facilitate rate loading, configuration, and integration with RMS (Property Management System and Channel Manager)

    9. Support distribution systems including RMS, including the setup of rates & room types.

    10. Run STR reports & analyse business/market segment YoY performance, communicating position to stakeholders.

    11. Provide a dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.

    12. Ensure all hotels are selling as per optimum owner returns.

    13. Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.

    14. Create and maintain a 13-month rolling demand calendar.

    15. Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting of performance and statistical information, providing recommendations as required.

    16. Work in correlation with hotel operations, sales and reservations as a team.

    Qualifications & Skills

    · Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management, or similar.

    · Minimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Management.

    · A comprehensive understanding of revenue management principles within a multinational hotel chain.

    · Excellent Excel skills and strong Office (Word, Outlook, etc) skills.

    · Superior attention to detail and time management skills

    · Strong reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    · Experience in handling Online distribution channels' backend.

    · Previous experience in an Airbnb management system is beneficial but not essential.

    · Strong Knowledge of Computer applications;

    · Hotel Property Management Systems experience.

    · Experience in handling channel managers similar to SiteMinder or RMS

    · Previous experience in a Revenue Management system is beneficial but not essential.

    · RMS 9+ Cloud experience is beneficial but not essential.
