JobSummary:

The HVAC Revit Modeler is responsible for creatingdetailed 3D models and drawings of Heating Ventilation and AirConditioning (HVAC) systems using Autodesk Revit software.

Thisrole involves collaborating with engineers and designers to produceaccurate and efficient HVAC designs for construction projects.

TheHVAC Revit Modeler plays a crucial role in the successful executionof HVAC projects by creating accurate models and drawings thatfacilitate efficient construction and system operation.

KeyResponsibilities:1.


HVAC System Modelling:
Utilize Autodesk Revit software to create 3D models of HVAC systemsbased on project specifications and design documents. Generateaccurate representations of HVAC components including ductworkpiping equipment and controls. Ensure that models are compliantwith industry standards and local building codes. 2.


Collaboration:
Work closely with HVAC engineers designers and other stakeholderslike clients to understand project requirements and design intent.
Collaborate on design reviews and coordinate model changes asnecessary. 3.


Clash Detection:

Conduct clash detection analysiswithin the Revit model to identify and resolve conflicts betweenHVAC systems and other building elements (structural architecturalelectrical plumbing etc.) Participate in coordination meetings todiscuss clash resolutions.

Detailing and Documentation:
Createdetailed HVAC drawings schedules and documentation from the Revitmodel. Ensure that drawings are clear organized and accurate foruse by construction teams and subcontractors. 5.


BIM Standards:
Adhere to Building Information Modelling (BIM) standards andprotocols established by the organization. Assist in thedevelopment and maintenance of BIM standards and templates.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software with a strong focus on HVACsystem modelling. Previous experience in HVAC system designdrafting or modelling. Knowledge of HVAC principles components andsystems. Familiarity with building codes and regulations related toHVAC design. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in modellingand drafting. Effective communication skills and the ability towork collaboratively in a team environment. Problemsolving skillsand the ability to identify and resolve clashes and designconflicts. Relevant certifications in Autodesk Revit or HVAC designareadvantageous.
