    Client also offers business solutions in the areas of Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Discrete and Process Manufacturing, Shop Floor Management, Plant Maintenance, Demand Planning and Management, Trade Promotion management, Customer Relationship Management, E-Commerce using Oracle eCommerce-ATG and EDI, Logistics and shipping, Transportation Management Job Description Power BI Developer is responsible for developing high-quality datasets and visually stunning reports and dashboards while working closely with the stakeholders, right from gathering and scoping the requirements to delivery and handoff.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in design and development of Power BI reports & dashboards
    • Study, analyse and understand business requirements in context of business intelligence.
    • Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
    • Proficiency with DAX expressions and M language
    • Ability to liaise with data engineers to align the physical model to reporting requirements
    • Able to set data quality standards and deploy supporting processes.
    • Strong ability to quickly propose solutions by recalling the latest best practices learned from MVP & Product Team articles, MSFT documentation, whitepapers, and community publications.
    • Good hands-on exposure to report publishing and security management in Power BI
    • A passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions.
    • A talented communicator with presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.

    Technical skills:

    • Power BI Desktop, Power BI Dataflows
    • Power BI Service administration
    • DAX, M, PowerShell
    • SQL Scripts:
    T-SQL and/or PL-SQL

    • RDBMS: SQL Server / Oracle
    • Data modelling using the Kimball methodology.

    Nice to have:

    • Power Apps, Power Automate
