Position SummarySenior Software Development Expert - SAP Technologies
is responsible for designing, developing, testing SAP custom objects using SAP technologies like ABAP, PO and BTP. The role will deliver business value through various projects, application maintenance activities, continuous improvements, and innovations.
The individual will have strong experience in developing custom solutions in ABAP (ECC, EWM, BW development), PO, FIORI app development and configuration, CDS views and ODATA services, CDI-DS, BTP, BODS and SDI.
is individual contributor role responsible for design, delivery and maintenance of SAP technical custom solutions across all functions and various SAP technologies.
Individual will work with business and functional teams to translate requirements in appropriate solution, define and design technical architecture, breakdown the technical work package, estimate and develop plan for its delivery, develop, conduct appropriate quality reviews, test and document the solution as well as troubleshoot support incidents when needed.
As a senior person in team, individual will guide and mentor junior team members on end-to-end development process, functional knowledge and SAP development best practices.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience10+ years of experience as SAP development expert in designing and developing custom solutions in S4, SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java Stack environments.
Experienced in Development, configuration, and app integration for custom Fiori App.
Good understanding of SAP standard functional processes and strong experience of SAP custom development for SAP PP, PP-PI, SD, MM, WM, EWM, LE, FI, CO, Modules for manufacturing industry.
Experience in Integrating SAP with other SAP, Non-SAP systems using Web services, EDI, IDoc development and maintenance, file-based transfers, and RFC's.
Experienced in developing BTP applications and integration solutions.Hands-on experience in executing large End-to-End Implementations, SAP Upgrades, Cloud Migrations of SAP Applications, S/4HANA Conversions.
Experience with business requirements gathering process, technical analysis, solution/design, coding, testing, documentation, and implementation of customizations within the SAP environment.
Ability to articulate and resolve timelines for various implementation and cutover activities, serving as technical point and SME for SAP technologies.
Strong experience in ABAP troubleshooting and debugging skills.Experienced in working with SAP for use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
Experienced on delivering work using Agile, waterfall methodologies. Has good knowledge of how to operate in Agile, Scrum, SAFe setups.SAP development, ITIL, Six Sigma, PMP, SAFe certifications desired but not mandatory.
