Experience:2 years of working experience as a Site TrafficManagementSupervisor.

Aboutthe Role:
The candidate will be based inAuckland and/or but may also be required to work nationwide inNorthland Waikato Bay of Plenty Gisborne Hawkes Bay TaranakiManawatuWanganui Wellington Tasman Nelson Marlborough West CoastCanterbury OtagoSouthland.
This may requirethe need to travel away from home orrelocate.

Whatyou will do:
Tasks include (but is not limitedto):
Planning and designing traffic management plans according to thespecific requirements of thesite.
Assessing potential hazards and risks associated with trafficmanagement and implementingappropriatecontrolmeasures.
Coordinating and supervising the installation and removal oftraffic management devices such assignage barriersandcones.
Ensuring compliance with New Zealands traffic managementregulations standards andguidelines.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of traffic control measuresto ensure they are properlymaintained andfunctioning.

Monitoring and adjusting traffic management plans as needed toaccommodate changing conditions or unforeseencircumstances.
Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders including workerscontractors event organizers and localauthorities.
Providing guidance and training to traffic management staff on safework practices and proper use of traffic controldevices.
Investigating and reporting any incidents nearmisses ornoncompliance issues related to trafficmanagement.
Keeping accurate records documentation and reports related totraffic managementactivities
Other necessary tasks as required for therole

Requirements

• Previousexperience in civil construction managingtraffic
  
• Asolutionfocused attitude with strong forward planning andadaptability
  
• Provenexperience and understanding of Health andSafety
  
• Agood level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of therole
  
• Ableto pass a Drugtest
  

A good command of the English language Minimum 2 years ofexperience in civil department
