    Description

    You will assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and components. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions for various projects, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and products.
    • Create detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
    • Conduct engineering analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance and behavior of mechanical designs.
    • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine design concepts and address technical challenges.
    • Assist in the selection of materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers for mechanical components.
    • Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
    • Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate mechanical properties, performance characteristics, and failure modes.
    • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
    • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
    • 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field (internship experience may be considered).
    • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
    • Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) software for structural and thermal analysis (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
    • Experience with prototyping tools and techniques, such as 3D printing, CNC machining, or rapid prototyping.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus.
