Requirements:
BE / ME – Mechanical, with 3-7 years of experience in controller enclosure design
Working on CREO (must) + AutoCAD; and Ansys (will be a + point)
Having good understanding of GD&T
Having good understanding of manufacturing processes
Understanding of testing and simulation standards for enclosures
Good in communication (written and spoken English)
Job description:
To design different types of enclosures – Traction motor controllers, DC-DC, Chargers etc.
To generate system requirement specifications (SRS) for new design
To generated 3D (CREO) and 2D for the design
To verify the design (calculations, data sheet referrals)
To coordinate and support CAE team for simulation
To generated control plans for enclosure parts for inspection and assembly
To coordinate with purchase team for purchase requisitions and purchase orders, for proto parts
To coordinate with suppliers for design feasibility, support for design understanding. To follow-up for the part development.
To coordinate Manufacturing Engineering team for design feasibility, support for design understanding and Design for manufacturing
To assemble the prototypes for testing
To test the enclosure for validation as per the SRS
Do benchmarking of relevant customer and competitor products for understanding the design
