    Title : Learning & Development Advisor

    Location : Bangalore, Karnataka, India

    As a Learning and Development Advisor, you will be a key player in the training and professional development of employees within the organization. Your role is to provide expert advice on learning strategies, assess training needs, and collaborate with various stakeholders to design and implement effective learning programs. The Learning and Development Advisor acts as a bridge between organizational goals and individual employee growth, contributing to the overall success and competitiveness of SonicWall

    Responsibilities:

  • Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough training needs assessments by working closely with department heads, managers, and individual employees to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Learning Program Design: Design and develop targeted learning programs that align with organizational objectives and cater to identified training needs. This includes creating curriculum, content, and materials.
  • Program Implementation: Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of learning programs, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts to guarantee high-quality program delivery.
  • Advisory Services: Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on learning and development opportunities, career paths, and skill enhancement strategies.
  • Learning Technology Integration: Stay abreast of learning technologies and recommend innovative tools or platforms that enhance the delivery and accessibility of training programs.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Establish metrics and evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives. Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve programs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, department heads, and other stakeholders to align learning initiatives with broader organizational strategies. Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure a cohesive approach to employee development.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all learning programs comply with relevant industry standards, legal requirements, and internal policies. Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee the effectiveness of training.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training activities and evaluate the success of programs. Generate regular reports for management, showcasing the impact of learning and development efforts.
  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • years of relevant experience in Learning and Development field.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning and development principles, methodologies, and adult learning theory.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in instructional design, content development, and training evaluation.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, learning technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
  • Kirkpatrick certification in training evaluation
  • Additional Learning and Development certifications a plus.
