    Role & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for administering consulting and/or negotiating product/service contracts with external customers.
    • Develops presales contract strategies and works closely with marketing, sales, and business management teams to structure proposals, contracts, and bid documents.
    • Negotiates contracts consistent with business objectives, engaging in contract amendments and renegotiations to accommodate scope changes.
    • Ensures fulfillment of contractual obligations from contracting parties.
    • Does not require the incumbent to have legal qualifications. A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in the job area, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
    • Responsibilities typically include managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from managers, coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower-level professionals as problems faced are difficult and often complex.

    Hiring Requirements

    Our client is offering an opportunity for a Senior Bid & Proposal Manager. Your task will be to develop bid strategy for large and complex pursuits, managing a diverse team of various competencies to implement the strategy and ensure the client's offering is consolidated and qualitatively conveyed to the parties. You will join a global team leading the markets outside of Europe.

    You will be part of the HVDC product group within the Company. HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years, used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses using overhead lines, underground, and submarine cable systems.

    Your Responsibilities:

    • Develop a tendering strategy based on market intelligence and in-house experience and expertise.
    • Lead the tender team in creating a complex tender from both a technical and commercial perspective, supported by technical, legal, tax, insurance, and commercial experts.
    • Translate client requirements and needs into a competitive overall solution based on the Company's portfolio.
    • Have frequent contacts with colleagues and clients in other countries.
    • Live the core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.

    Your background:

    • Experience in project management of mega projects and/or large-scale system sales and tendering.
    • Thrive in a high-performing international environment.
    • Enjoy the challenge of complexity, working in a changing business environment, dealing with international business clients.
    • Technical and commercial experience from HVDC systems or similar is an advantage due to working close to the HVDC Technology.
    • Have a learning mindset and a collaborative spirit.
    • Good leadership skills and a structured approach for leading the team through challenges.
    • Communicative and outgoing, especially since the position involves interaction with various stakeholders internally and externally across all organizational levels.

    Preferred Candidate Profile:

    M. Tech / BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
