JobSummary:
Our client is seeking a motivatedand dedicated Academic Counsellor to join our team.

As an AcademicCounsellor you will be responsible forproviding guidance and support to students and parents regardingcourse selection academic goals and overalleducational planning.

You will work closely with our team ofeducators and administrators to ensurestudent success and satisfaction. This is a remote positionallowing you to work from the comfort ofyour own home.


Responsibilities:
Conduct oneonone counselling sessions with students and parents tounderstand their academic goals interestsand challenges. Provide detailedinformation about AhaGuru courses programs and resources to helpstudents make informed decisions. Assist students in selecting appropriatecourses based on their individual needs abilities and careeraspirations. Developand maintain a comprehensive understanding of AhaGurus curriculumteaching methods and assessment systems. Monitor student progress and performanceproviding feedback and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with AhaGurus teaching staffand administrators to address student concerns resolve issuesand optimize learning experiences. Stay uptodate with the latest educationaltrends curriculum changes and college admission requirements. Conduct workshops and informationalsessions for students parents and educators on academic planningcollege preparation and other relevanttopics. Maintain accurate and detailedrecords of counselling sessions student interactions and academicplans. Assist in the development ofcounselling resources including guides handouts and onlinematerials.


Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Education CounsellingPsychology or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Proven experience in academic counsellingpreferably in an online education environment. Strong knowledge of school curriculaacademic pathways and college admission processes. Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills with the ability to connect with students and parentseffectively. Empathetic and supportive approach with the ability to understandand address individual student needs. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with online learning platformsand technologies. Ability to workindependently and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
