- Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal requirements.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in quality processes.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Manufacturing, to integrate quality control into all product development and production processes.
- Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports and records, including test results, audit findings, and corrective actions.
- Conduct and supervise internal audits and quality inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
- Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and customers' auditors to ensure external audits are smoothly conducted.
- Develop strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the quality of products and services.
- Respond to customer complaints and non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions and ensuring resolution.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in quality assurance techniques and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products, including GMP, FDA, and ICH guidelines.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using quality assurance software and tools.
