    Description

    As the Quality Assurance Manager at Puerto Life Sciences, you will oversee the entire quality assurance department, ensuring that all products meet the required safety and quality standards before they reach the market. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and enhancing product quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal requirements.
    • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in quality processes.
    • Oversee the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as Manufacturing, to integrate quality control into all product development and production processes.
    • Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports and records, including test results, audit findings, and corrective actions.
    • Conduct and supervise internal audits and quality inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
    • Coordinate with external quality assurance auditors and customers' auditors to ensure external audits are smoothly conducted.
    • Develop strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the quality of products and services.
    • Respond to customer complaints and non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions and ensuring resolution.
    • Keep abreast of the latest developments in quality assurance techniques and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
    • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products, including GMP, FDA, and ICH guidelines.
    • Proven leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in using quality assurance software and tools.
