About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architecture Engineer who can design, build, and implement cutting-edge database solutions for our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and excellent communication skills to work with product owners and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop data architecture solutions using open-source tools on public cloud platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and ensure seamless data flow.
Develop and maintain high-performance databases using NoSQL/RDBMS solutions.
Own or support data definitions and lineage across the organization.
Define systems of record and catalog operational and non-operational data stores.
Consult with feature teams on data modeling and integration.
Manage database operations, cover oncall, accessibility tools, security, and develop solutions for observability and monitoring.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
8+ years of experience in a DBA role, primarily with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and later.
5+ years of experience on Oracle databases.
3+ years on PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Experience in OLTP environments and proficiency in SQL server installations, administration, updates, and upgrades.
Create and manage multiple databases, assist in capacity planning and monitor system's health and performance.
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
Strong experience in Azure, AWS, and GCP public clouds.
Certification in RDBMS or NoSQL Databases.
Azure, AWS, and GCP Certification.
