- Collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Applied ML, Product, Design, and Content teams
- Improving LLM app development practices and tooling, including experimentation and performance measurement
- Evaluating and implementing various types of LLMs for our product use cases
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack, product-focused software engineering
- Proficiency in Python is advantageous
- Experience building and deploying LLM apps, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong passion for LLMs and AI-powered language learning
- Knowledge of LLM Ops and tooling
- A keen interest in staying abreast of the latest advancements in AI and language learning

We are currently hiring an AI Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in building innovative product experiences powered by Language Learning Models (LLMs) and delivering them to our diverse user base.
Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of product development, from evaluating models and testing prompts to enhancing key features such as our conversational onboarding experience, AI roleplays, and personalized lessons tailored to individual users' needs.
We are committed to pushing the boundaries of LLM capabilities to provide an unmatched language learning experience to users across the globe. This is an equity-only role for now, initially part-time 15-20 hours/week with the opportunity to transition to a full-time compensated role starting May '24. The full time compensation package will range from $50k to $72k post seed round, along with 5% equity.
