    Responsibilities:


    Understand the entire system end to end and involve in every step of software development process like designing, development, and testingAct as QA architect for our NextGen retail solution defining test strategy to improve stability, usability and operability of the solutionBuild strategies to improve the current test automation and performance practices that are followed and implement best practicesDefine and build test scenarios and acceptance testsDefine and develop test automation strategy and framework for testing multiple platforms like Web, Mobile and, Desktop by incorporating industry best practicesWork with SW architects and developers to understand the intricacies of the integration points of solution to build test scenariosProvide guidance to performance testing professionals to build more realistic workloads to break the systemUnderstand the API contracts between cross-products, test and troubleshoot any issues with API definitionsApply engineering principals, data analysis best practice and process knowledge to conduct root cause analysis of functional and non-functional defectsProvide a detailed root cause analysis for a defect with log evidences to fix the problem and apply the fixAnalyze the issues using software or application monitoring toolsCollaborate with solution engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, network engineers and QA engineers.

    Work within the SAFe methodology to implement and / or refine solution integration and test best practicesBasic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10 to 12 years of experience / knowledge in testing in an enterprise environmentVery strong experience with Retail industry, Point of Sale/Self checkout, Loyalty management and inventory management systems.

    Solid hands-on experience with Object-oriented programming (Java & JavaScript preferred)Extensive experience in test automation of complex enterprise applications using Selenium, PlayWright, etc.,Very good exposure to Kubernetes based solutions, Linux OS with a hands-on experience to troubleshoot K8s problemsVery good exposure to performance testing tools such as Jmeter, Blazemeter and LoadRunnerHands-on expertise in developing BDD feature files, using Specflow assists.

    Hands-on experience on API and Database testing and automationPerformance testing experience is an advantageExperience of working "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodologyGood understanding of software architecture with the ability to provide recommendations and strategy for non-functional testing initiativesA real problem solver, ability to find opportunities for improvement and tackle them without external directionStrong personal accountability and ownership requiredOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
