    Product & Portfolio Head - BBG

    Hiring for a Leading Bank

    Role - Product & Portfolio Head (BBG)

    Location - Kolkata

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Develop and implement the product strategy for the SME - Business Banking Vertical in line with the overall business objectives of the bank.
    • Manage the product portfolio, including new product development, enhancements, and retirement, to ensure it remains competitive and meets customer needs.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new product opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, risk, and technology teams, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing management.
    • Ensure all products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Work closely with the risk management team to assess and mitigate product-related risks.
    • Monitor the performance of the product portfolio against key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as required.
    • Lead and mentor a team of product managers and analysts to drive excellence in product management practices.
    Qualifications and Experience :


    • Minimum 10 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on product management.
    • Strong background in product design, development, and implementation, preferably in the SME
    • Business Banking segment.
    • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing a diverse product portfolio.
    • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and market dynamics in the banking industry.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
    • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) preferred.
