We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified MYP/DP Physics Teacher to join our team at Bloomingdale International School.. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous physics lessons to students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). Your key responsibilities will include:

Designing and implementing comprehensive physics curricula aligned with MYP and DP standards.

Facilitating hands-on experiments and practical activities to enhance students' understanding of physics concepts.

Assessing student progress through various methods, including examinations, projects, and lab reports.

Providing timely feedback and support to help students achieve academic success and develop critical thinking skills.

Collaborating with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and promote inquiry-based learning.

Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Teaching certification/license and experience teaching MYP and/or DP Physics.

Strong knowledge of the MYP and DP frameworks, including assessment practices and approaches to teaching and learning.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore and appreciate the wonders of physics.
