    Role Description

    1. Lead and manage the entire data science lifecycle for strategic projects.
    2. Partner with business stakeholders to identify critical problems and opportunities, translating them into data science initiatives. Design and implement complex machine learning models and algorithms.
    3. Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering their professional development.
    4. Effectively communicate complex data science concepts and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
    5. Stay at the forefront of data science trends and technologies, identifying and implementing best practices.
    6. Oversee data quality and ensure adherence to data governance standards.
    7. Masters in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with a strong focus on data science.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience leading data science projects.
    • Proven experience in building and deploying successful machine learning models.
    • Expertise in programming languages like Python, R, and potentially Scala/Java.
    • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies, big data technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Experience with deep learning or natural language processing.
    • A portfolio showcasing prior data science projects and their impact.
