    Description

    As an Explorance DevOps Engineer, you will be helping the development and QA team to automate, develop, implement and investigate of
    world class products.

    Responsibilities

  • Administration/Monitoring of different servers in the cloud or on-premises
  • Database (MSSQL)administion and maintenance
  • AD/DC administration
  • VPN administration
  • Backups and restoration of Virtual Machines, Databases
  • Implementation of recovery plans
  • Data migration, transformation, and scripting.
  • Write technical design and partial architectures.
  • Troubleshooting of infrastructure and product deployments, bug correction.
  • Cost and time estimation of features and tasks.
  • Investigation of new technologies to be applicable in Explorance software development processes
  • Support developers and QA team in the implementation of robust set of services, features, APIs that power our web products.
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Follow and participate to Explorance standards and guidelines

    • Bonus skills:

  • Know how to adapt to a constantly evolving environment and like to bring forth new ideas.
  • Have worked on production product compliance, certifications, and audits including security
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools in the likes of Terraform;
  • Virtualization (Hyper-V)
  • Powershell and Azure CLI scripting
  • Web server technologies like IIS, Tomcat
  • TLS Certificate management
  • Physical Server and Networking configutation
  • SSO Concepts
  • Server-side languages like C, , Python
  • REST/SOAP API concepts
  • Docker Concepts
  • Git knowledge

    • Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of years of successful in-depth knowledge and experience within the private and public Microsoft Azure cloud
    space.
  • Have a minimum of years of experience in DevOps practices.
  • Able to work effectively across teams within Explorance and with partners to "make it happen"
  • Have a good knowledge of infrastructure and networking security concepts
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with configuration management software, source control software and job execution tools, preferably Git, Azure Devops;
  • Have a good knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines and fundamentals
